EMDT now offers health and safety training!
EMDT is dedicated to helping all forklift drivers and staff remain safe on the worksite. In addition to our training courses for various types of forklifts, we’ve now expanded to include a range of health and safety training courses for life-threatening injuries.
Our newly added courses include:
Automatic Electronic Defibrillator (AED) Training
This training course will teach you how to use an automatic electronic defibrillator to diagnose and treat sudden cardiac arrests.
Emergency First Aid At Work
This training course will teach you how to react to and treat a range of emergency health situations that may occur at your workplace.
First Aid At Work
This training course will teach you how to react to and treat a range of non-life-threatening health situations that may occur at your workplace. This course can be taken as three days in the classroom or a combination of two days in the classroom and one day online.
Basic Life Support
This training course will teach you how to support someone with life-threatening injuries.
Upon completion of these courses, your employees will gain qualifications that demonstrate their ability to react in emergency situations. Having qualified employees in your workforce can mean the difference between life and death.
Where do these courses take place?
We can carry out our training courses on your site as long as you have the available space. This gives your employees the opportunity to take the course in familiar surroundings helping them to relax and focus.
However if you don’t have the space, we can also provide off-site training at our own dedicated test centre.
Who will instruct these courses?
We have a team of qualified instructors who will lead the courses. Our team works with businesses in Loughborough, Leicester, Derby, Nottingham and throughout the East Midlands region.
